The compute cluster is built in Almaty. Training of the AI-companion model on Kazakh starts now.
Late May 2026 the team closed the procurement of hardware for the local AI infrastructure. A central compute node with a next-generation server GPU, a workstation, a high-speed network, and backup power are now installed as one cluster in Almaty.
Local infrastructure exists for three reasons: response speed for the AI companion talking to the child, control over children's data, and the ability to fine-tune models on a Kazakh children's corpus.
Training is starting now. The first goal is to tune the AI companion's voice on Kazakh for live dialogue: speech recognition for a child's voice, understanding the lesson topic, answering in the character of the chosen hero. In parallel the team is testing the integration with the game and the AI-pin.
This step closes one of the key Y1 plan items: shipping the AI companion as our own system, not as a license from an outside vendor.
